Report on Jesuit colleges shows need for a voice on campuses

A new report and survey of faculty at Jesuit colleges and universities shows that instructors have heavier workloads than just a few years ago and have a diminished role in decision-making at their institution.

The findings come a few days before faculty and students at Loyola and Jesuit colleges and universities across the country hold a series of actions on their campuses to advocate for Just Employment and reigniting the social justice mission at their schools.

We filed our petition to hold a union election with the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) in order to win a voice at our university and improvements in our working conditions.
